Built for the people shaping Indian cities.
India is in the middle of an unprecedented wave of urban investment. New metro lines, transit corridors, riverfront rehabilitations, and affordable housing projects are reshaping every major city — and dozens of smaller ones. The practitioners doing this work — urban designers, planners, transport engineers, and the firms they build — are some of the most skilled people in the world at operating under constraints.
But they’re hampered by information problems that shouldn’t exist in 2026. Good precedents are buried in PDFs and hard drives. Tenders are scattered across forty different government portals. Pre-design research — site context, byelaws, demographics — takes weeks and gets assembled from scratch every single time.
Urban IQ exists to fix this.
We’re building a platform that brings together the projects worth learning from, the tenders worth chasing, and AI that handles the pre-design groundwork — so small teams can move with the speed and evidence base of much larger ones.
We’re starting small and honest. Every feature is built on real practitioner feedback, every dataset is sourced and attributable, and every AI output is clearly scoped for what it can and can’t do.
Urban IQ is currently in early access. We are based in New Delhi and built by practitioners who have worked inside both gov-tech platforms and urban design practice.
